BEVERAGES
NONI JUICE
The official scientific name of the noni berry is the Morinda citrifolia fruit. Morinda is actually a genus of about 80 species, mostly of tropical origin. It’s been used for centuries as a food source and has a long tradition of being used for medicinal purposes. And while the fruit itself is pretty vile tasting, the juice products made from it are quite palatable. A recently published study found that a compound in noni fruit was 40 times more potent tha sulforaphane (a powerful plant compound that has significant anticancer properties). One study found that a compound in the fruit stimulated the synthesis of collagen. The authors stated that this compound – an anthraquinone – was a good candidate for a new antiwrinkle agent!
POMEGRANATE
Research suggests that long-term consumption of pomegranate juice may help slow aging and protect against heart disease and cancer. Interestingly enough, the pomegranate has always been associated with love and erotica. Recently published research examined the long-term intake of pomegranate juice on erectile dysfunction (in an animal model). The results suggest for the first time that free radicals (oxidative stress) are a contributing factor in erectile dysfunction and that due to its powerful antioxidant capabilities, pomegranate juice may be a "natural Viagra." Ingredients in pomegranate juice also lower blood pressure, which tends to rise as we age.
RED WINE
Plato may have been on to something when he said, "Nothing more excellent or valuable than wine was ever granted by the gods to man." The truth, as always, is a bit more complicated. One thing that red wine does have going for it is its heart-healthy, life-extending compounds, and the best one is a superstar compound that many consider the #1 anti-aging supplement in the world – resveratrol. Resveratrol is one of the most potent of the polyphenols and is found in red wine and the seeds and skins of grapes. The antioxidant properties of resveratrol offer health benefits in the prevention of heart disease and the reduction of lung tissue inflammation. Reservatrol also has anticancer activity. If you’re not a drinker, there’s no need to start in order to get the benefits of red wine  just eat some grapes. But if you already drink
in moderation there’s no need to stop. Just keep it to two drinks a day for men and no more than one for women.

WATER

Calorie-free, and essential to life. Think about it: Your body is 83% water. Your muscles are 75% water. Your brain, for goodness’sake, is 74% water, and your bones are 22% water. You need water for every single metabolic process in the body. Water is necessary to digest and absorb nutrients and vitamins. It carries away metabolic waste. It helps "flush" fat and toxins through the liver and kidneys. There’s no better anti-aging drink in the world.
